Professor of Design and New Media at the University of Porto. Course Director of the PhD Program in Design (U.Porto/U.Aveiro/UPTEC). Director of ID+, Institute for Research in Design, Media and Culture, at U.Porto. Curator of FuturePlaces Medialab since 2007 (UTAustin-Portugal Program for Digital Media). Member of Academia Europaea since 2015.
