​Delfim F. Leão

 

Full Professor at the Institute of Classical Studies and Coordinator of the Center for Classical and Humanistic Studies at the University of Coimbra. His main areas of scientific interest are ancient history, Greek law and political theorizing, theatrical pragmatics and ancient Romanesque writing. He also has a strong connection to the area of Digital Humanities, being responsible for the development of the UC Digitalis platform (since 2011).

He is Director of the Press at the University of Coimbra (2011-) and was President of the Portuguese Association of Higher Education Publishers (2011-2014).

Together with Lautaro R. Lanzillotta, he coordinates “Brill's Plutarch Studies” (http://www.brill.com/products/series/brills-plutarch-studies) (2016-).
